ABSTRACT
43Migration patterns vary across time and space. This chapter analyses the characteristics of the community of migrant ex-miners under consideration in this book through a community survey and life stories. The analysis sheds light on the particularities of migration-related characteristics of members of the community of ex-miners who have relocated to the outskirts of Cochabamba as compared to those of Bolivians migrating to Argentina as a whole and migrants in other countries.
