Introduction

This chapter is designed to provide the motivation of this book. It demonstrates conceptual and contextual background that is associated with the process of ICT diffusion. Additionally it provides brief justification why Asia has been chosen for an examination of the phenomenon of ICT diffusion. Additionally, it targets to clarify major aims and scopes of the book, and it defines major research goals. Finally, it presents consecutive chapters’ contents.
