Major questions addressed in this chapter are:
How can we ensure that children with special educational needs and/or disabilities can be included so that they develop, thrive and make progress in settings and schools?
How can the assess ® plan ® do ® review cycle described in the Special Educational Needs and Disability Code of Practice: 0 to 25 years (DfE, 2015a, pp. 86-7) identify children’s needs and help to address barriers to learning and progress?
What constitutes effective forms of assessment, planning, doing and reviewing?
