ABSTRACT
I think there's a general sense that public broadcasting is in turmoil, in crisis, and its future is very unclear. • That's really what I want to talk about, ways to think about our past and our present that might guide us to a future where we'll have a media system broadly, and a broadcasting system specifically, that we can be proud of, that will do the necessary things we need to have done in a democracy.
