ABSTRACT
Today is Jordan’s and Leslie’s second anniversary as a couple. The plan for the evening is dinner at their favorite restaurant, then a concert by their favorite band. Jordan, a few minutes early, knocks on the door of Leslie’s apartment. What he sees when the door opens surprises him. Leslie’s hair is cut very short and dyed a color that, frankly, looks unhealthy, at least to Jordan. “Hi, Jordan. You’re early. I’m just about ready” says Leslie. “You look different,” says Jordan. Leslie replies, “I wanted a new look. What do you think?” Jordan swallows.
