ABSTRACT
Reliability refers to the repeatability or consistency in the use of a measure. If I tell a joke to students just before a final exam, it might not be rated as nearly as funny as when I tell the joke to the same group in a local pub or on a weekend retreat. How I use the joke (for example, where I tell it) affects its reliability in producing a laugh.
