ABSTRACT
The official language is Standard Arabic. Most of the population speak Tunisian Spoken Arabic. There are also 500 speakers of Judeo-Tunisian Arabic; 3 650 of Duwinna (in Chenini town, Douirat Town and Tunis); 11 000 French-speakers; 10 000 speakers of Jerba and 3 000 Tamezret speakers in Tamezret village. Sened is spoken in Sened and Tmagourt villages.
