ABSTRACT
I now examine how students used their agency to navigate the resource constraints and structural arrangements described in the previous chapter. The focus of this chapter is student experiences of converting resources into capabilities and functionings for equal participation. This chapter attempts to capture the enabling factors that contribute towards equal participation. I also track how student agency, resistance and resilience and worked against personal and structural constraints.
