ABSTRACT
In the final two chapters of this book we report a series of demonstration studies carried out by teachers in their own classrooms. The first six studies, which are presented in this chapter, report interventions carried out with individual children. The following chapter (8) reports studies carried out with groups, usually whole classes. In each chapter we begin by describing work with younger children and then move up through the age range.
