ABSTRACT
A culturally sensitive and tailor made methodological approach enabled us to capture a broad range of contributions that reflected the mosaic of Irish social life. An interview strategy, informed by both qualitative and quantitative methods and underpinned by a phenomenological paradigm facilitated the emergence of a number of key themes that shed light on the nature of the Irish economic disposition. The purpose of this chapter is to present these themes and synthesise them into an informed profile of the Irish economic disposition.
