ABSTRACT
This chapter explains the way in which I ‘made’ my interpretations of participants. By giving an explicit and detailed explanation of how I arrived at particular interpretations, I hope to render a more credible account of the Serbian Australian experience. In the drive for understanding, I have paid particular attention to explaining the prejudices I hold in making meaning out of the data generated.
