ABSTRACT

What valuation of health occurs, how much, and how successful is it? If the valuation of health in practice is to be fully understood and developed, it is important to have some idea about what evaluation is occurring, and what effect (if any) it is having. This question is not as large as it sounds, because health valuation remains small, in relation to the vast field of medical practice, to all of which, in principle, valuation techniques could be applied.
