We spend approximately one-third of our adult life in our work environment – the best and more energetic years of our lives. Basically, if we consider that an average human being sleeps around eight hours per day, and we exclude weekends, we spend around 50% of our free time at work. If we consider the fact that the majority of the occupations up to now exceed the eight hours of work per day, adding also the time spent going back and forth to reach our workplace, along with the time consumed for the emails and the mobile technology that follows us everywhere, then one can really wonder how much free and quality time do we have in our disposition in order to spend for ourselves and with our loved ones in our everyday lives.
