ABSTRACT

The previous chapter looked into the configurational system and how it structures matter and action in SPACE or TIME. Seven schematic categories, namely ‘plexity’, ‘state of dividedness’, ‘state of boundedness’, ‘degree of extension’, ‘pattern of distribution’, ‘axiality’ and ‘scene partitioning’ were discussed in a direct link with the actual act of translating. In this chapter, special attention is paid to the other imaging systems, namely the attentional system, perceptival system and force-dynamic system.
