ABSTRACT
The wind power industry in China is rather competitive and has many private players. Nevertheless, the Chinese government has actively promoted technology indigenization with domestic content requirements and implemented favorable policies to support its selected winner. Unfortunately, the winner picked by the government did not perform as well as hoped.
