ABSTRACT
China’s oil consumption has increased by more than 4,000 times from 1949 to 2015. Since 2003, China has become the second largest oil consuming country in the world. The three Chinese national oil corporations ranked the 3rd, 4th, and 109th in the Fortune Global 500 list in 2016. The Chinese oil companies have become increasingly active in the international markets.
