ABSTRACT
Our African-American “M.D”.is now a practicing physician who has been educated during the age of integration. He or she may not believe in the necessity of civil rights and may believe that he or she has already been afforded the same advantages as the majority physician. To be a committed physician requires a willingness to educate oneself about the many dimensions of managed care and the ability to impart this knowledge to other minority physicians.
