Demand for countryside recreation has increased substantially over the last couple of decades and is likely to go on increasing. Woodland visits give great pleasure - people love the outdoor life, the trees, the wildflowers and the wildlife - and woodlands are ideally placed to offer a fascinating range of outdoor interests.
