ABSTRACT
Photocopy the ob;ectives from the Framework for Teaching for one half-term of the school year you have chosen and make an enlarged copy of the medium-term planner on page 58 of the Framework. (The planner has space for eight weeks, but you need only complete five.) Enter the names of the texts in the 'Texts' column. Refer to the guidance in Literacy Training Pack Module 1, Teacher's Notes. Decide which ob;ectives from each strand can be taught together and organise some of them across Week 1; consider those which remain and select some to organise across Week 2.
