ABSTRACT
As we believe in an holistic approach to the education of our children, and since we have moved on from a purely skill-based form of teaching (whereby a child could not access the next step unless he or she had achieved the previous one), we needed to provide a much wider range of experiences. The introduction of the National Curriculum in mainstream settings provided the impetus to develop the Mordaunt School curriculum for pupils withPMLD.
