ABSTRACT
Sex education must be placed in a context that is much wider than awareness of bodily functions, reproductive biology and the mechanics of sex. Given that in part it is designed to enable responsible and thoughtful choices, it should be related to the development of skills in making informed choices across all areas of human experience.
