ABSTRACT
National Hunt Hurdling and steeplechasing are generally known as National Hunt racing. The National Hunt Committee is responsible for controlling all forms of horse-racing, including point-topoint meetings, which are not under the direct administration of the Jockey Club. The Committee's title is first recorded in Weatherbys Calendar for 1866.
