I have served as a consultant to Dr.•Jalnes B. Conant on the 11nplications of psychological findings for the formulation of educational policy, and currently I am a vice president of the ~-\lneriean Educational Research ~-\ssociation, heading its division of learning and instruction. I have served as a 11lelnber of the }\dvisory (;0111111ittee on Ne\ver Educational Media \vhich \vas established under the provisions of title 'TIl of the National Defense Education ~.\ct of 1958, and I have served on other panels and comnlittees relating to educational research funding activities of tJle 1J.S. Office of Education.
