ABSTRACT

We have aimed to demystify action learning and make it more accessible to potential users. We are conscious that in writing a how to book on action learning we are in danger of being prescriptive in suggesting that this is the way. That is not our intention. By making explicit how action learning may work effectively, we may contribute to practitioners moving into experimentation and further questioning insight. Our intention is to provide some insights into how action learning can be ' in balance ' so that set members have the conditions for reflection, insight and action.
