ABSTRACT
In which I explore the concept and practice of recognition, analysing it in terms of three interdependent components: affirming normativity through possession; forming borders through dispossessing the other; and creative–relational affirmation of difference. I explore the act of recognition in encounters within human and more-than-human lives.
