ABSTRACT
As China’s economy has created the miracle of development and increased 1.38 billion Chinese people’s average income level to be 16 times higher than that 40 years ago, China’s reform and opening-up has also attracted worldwide attention. In fact, the achievements of economic growth and higher living standards are strong proofs of this policy’s success. However, China’s goal of establishing the perfect system of socialist market economy and the tasks of reform have not been completed yet, and all aspects of the system have not yet been matured and established. Also, as a process of institutional evolution and policy adjustment complying with the demands of the system, reform is also never-ending. Therefore, in order to cope with all sorts of challenges in the future journey of deepening reform, it is necessary to review the reform logics to date and summarize experiences and lessons in the process, thus revealing the unfinished reform tasks.
