ABSTRACT
We do have a unique type of business with the Department of Defense. It's not typical of a commercial business. It is different. I have called it a quasi-fiduciary responsibility. At General Dynamics, we are spending the taxpayers' money, and that means that we must have higher standards of performance and responsibility than maybe a normal commercial-type of manufacturer.
