ABSTRACT

“The first step in the treatment process is to make the problem concrete and present in the actual context. This contextual approach means that if people have an eating problem, we want to see how they eat; if people have a sleeping problem, we go to their house at bedtime; and if the child has problems in school, we come to the school, etc. This means that the work of the clinic not only takes place at the clinic but also in the context where the problem unfolds”
