Learning how it is from experience

Bion’s title, Learning from Experience seems simple enough. Finding its singular fact is anything but. Bion’s method is dense. He works the reader’s mind through intentional obscurity and obfuscation (1992, p. 259). If this necessary stretch of the imagination is insufficiently felt, unrecognised, then Bion cautions the reader to hold on tight for a wild ride.
