ABSTRACT
Charities enjoy many privileges, not least the fiscal and rate reliefs, in return for the benefit they bring to the community. These privileges seem to us to carry responsibilities, one of which is that they seek to cooperate with one another when this is advantageous and when to do otherwise would fail to deploy charitable resources effectively.
