ABSTRACT

Morski Port Handłowy Gdynia S. A. – or more commonly known as Port Gdynia – is one of the three major international port authorities in Poland which until the early 1990s were the only permitted port entry/exit points into and out of the country and which remain predominant in market share compared with the minor developments that have occurred in any other locations on the Baltic Coast. Other sections deal with the other two competitors in Gdańsk and Szczecin/Świnoujście whilst here we will concentrate upon developments in Gdynia.
