This chapter’s objectives include:
To demonstrate an understanding of the natures of entrepreneurial activities in African economies.
To analyze the facilitators and hindrances of entrepreneurship in African economies and compare them with other regions of the world.
To evaluate some of the successful as well as unsuccessful activities related to entrepreneurship in African economies.
To evaluate the roles of foreign companies in driving entrepreneurship development in Africa and their roles to the local economy.
To demonstrate an understanding of western response to low level of entrepreneurial activities in Africa.
