ABSTRACT
At the beginning of this essay, I identified justice with the way we live with others, taking the term others in a strong sense that entailed real selfboundaries and the multiplication and differentiation of self into a world of many particular persons. This is a world of sameness and difference the unity of which is what we mean by other.
