ABSTRACT
We have seen earlier that personality and character arise out of the infinitely complex interaction of temperament and environment, the internalisation of the interpersonal and socio-cultural environment not necessarily simply as it is but under the influence of powerful emotions and projective processes. Whilst it is essential to look at the interplay of specific intrapsychic and intrapersonal dynamics there are also wider socio-cultural and ideological considerations.
