ABSTRACT
This chapter discusses examples drawn from research studies on a range of arts projects and programmes in health and care. The case studies presented here are not intended as a representative sample; they are drawn from my own research and from studies I have undertaken with colleagues. However, they reflect a range of arts activities with different populations and in a range of settings, identifying issues and challenges that apply across many arts, health and well-being contexts. Each section begins with an overview of existing research on the topic before going on to discuss study findings and implications.
