ABSTRACT
It is not really possible to speak of a Peruvian culture. We must speak of several: the urban, on the one hand, the rural, on the other; and it is even possible to differentiate between a culture of sẽnores and one of those subject to them. But these different cultures are not apparent to the eyes of visitors, nor are they studied in the university courses.
