ABSTRACT
In this chapter, the results and discussion relative to the quantitative analysis of the data set are presented. The statistical techniques utilized are the first points of discussion. In the next section, the study sample is briefly described. The results of the quantitative portion of the meta-analysis are used to describe the socio-demographic characteristics of the sample population. These characteristics are also discussed as they vary according to survey site and survey type. Finally, correlational analyses are examined. The correlations between selected variables and the hunger perception index are first discussed. Then, the correlational analyses among the 17 coded categorical variables are described and discussed.
