Lord Hutton has retired to consider the voluminous evidence given to him during the two months of his inquiry into the circumstances of the death of Dr David Kelly, the Government scientist whose apparent suicide provoked the closest thing we are likely to get to a forensic inquiry into the decision by the Blair Government to go to war against Iraq.
