ABSTRACT
The #MeToo movement has shown just how widespread sex crimes are across the United States and the world. In no other type of crime is the testimony of the victim viewed with so much mistrust by juries, police, defense attorneys, and even prosecutors. It is for this very reason that physical evidence is so important to the investigation and prosecution of this crime.
