ABSTRACT
In this chapter we will discuss the findings concerning the joint effects of participation and personality structure and attempt to determine the significance of these findings for theoretical formulations of the relationship between personality and environmental variables. The results and the theoretical and practical implications of the entire study will then be summarized.
