ABSTRACT
This chapter investigates the Nairobi Cancer Registry, the Eldoret Cancer Registry and a policy document from the Kenyan Parliament to record the incursion of Western biomedical biases into global health contexts. These documents use rhetoric that reflects beliefs about oncogenic women and displays propensity toward medical interventions for women, subtly eroding bodily autonomy for women, while possibly placing men at more risk for cancer.
