ABSTRACT

This chapter aims at an analysis of the problems of pricing in so far as they are specific to public enterprise. Several matters of close relevance to it are considered in different contexts and in some detail in chapters 4, 5, 7, and 11; hence references to them will be very brief here. Questions that apply equally to public and private enterprises, like monopoly, will only be considered with a focus on the qualifying factors in the case of public enterprise.
