ABSTRACT

When you have finished collecting notes on potential interview topics and questions, written out your Big Five, and written out a few Example Sandwich answers you want to share, you are ready to begin verbally practicing your interview answers. I can’t stress enough that your goal is not to create “canned” answers. I have completed interviews in which the candidates sounded as though they were reading their answers from a teleprompter. Answers like these are robotic and leave the interview committee feeling that you may not be confident about the topic, because you had to script your answers.
