ABSTRACT
Undertakes an appraisal of the benefits that could be achieved by engaging in asymmetric international trade is undertaken in Chapter Eleven. By embracing the view that protectionism and infant industry protection have historically been the means to sustainable economic development and economic prosperity, logically leads to the conclusion that such an approach to international trade by contemporary underdeveloped economies could yield mutually beneficial outcomes.
