ABSTRACT
This chapter explores the case for a world institution which would take a global view of expenditure and resource transfers in relation to the requirements of global development, levels of output and employment and reduction in disparities in incomes. Such an institution should be capable of taking appropriate action in the light of this global view. The need for such an institution has been alluded to in previous chapters. Here we briefly draw the arguments together.
