ABSTRACT
How did our six development programs match their strategies and environments? Did their strategic interventions have anything in common? We shall explore these questions in this chapter and present detailed evidence on the two interdependent components of strategy, viz., service-beneficiary-sequence, and demand-supply-resource, and their compatability with the environment with respect to each program. A summary statement of the major environmental factors underlying the program and the strategic interventions adopted in response to them is presented at the end of each section.
