ABSTRACT
Despite the insistence of each side in the El Salvador-Honduras dispute that it has consistently sought a rapid and definitive solution to outstanding problems, the two countries are apparently no closer now to resolving their differences than they were in 1970. At the same time, most observers agree that there can be little progress on the integration front until the Honduras-El Salvador dispute is resolved.
