Disney Theatrical Productions (DTP) is primarily a sole producer of large-scale Broadway productions. Though their business is similar to many other Broadway producers, their structure and methodology is not. This chapter examines the structure of DTP by comparing the company to several other Broadway producers that share something in common with the company. The chapter discusses The Nederlander Organization, Kevin McCollum, and Lincoln Center Theatre, pointing out the similarities and noting the differences in structure and production model between these producers and DTP.
