score (background and incidental music) that is specific to your plot and theme, and that works in concert with your visuals. A great score can signal danger
(think about the Jaws theme), pull you in to the pace of a different way of life (Witness), sweep you away to a bygone era (Gone with the Wind), or pull you in to the warmth or chilliness of a story (The Social Network).
