Justinian’s Second Persian War: diplomatic relations (545–562)

Despite the truce of 545, the Arab allies of both sides remained at war. Nothing more is known of the progress of their struggle in this period than what is recorded by Procopius.1 See Shahîd 1995: 237-9.
